This project aimed to capture the essence of the annual New Orleans Jazz Festival and promote attendance for the event. To do this a hand-drawn style font was included alongside a custom-made graphic of a musician performing. The color choice was also a conscious effort to give the poster a smooth and relaxed feel. The use of analogous colors in addition to the rough-styled art and type captures the festival's energy and conveys the appropriate aesthetic of the event to the desired market.
