Graphic Design Internship-2023 Mar/Present
My internship at the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park has been an excellent opportunity for me to showcase my design and illustration skills as well as develop and learn new talents including photography, content creation, social media management, and much more.
Educational Mascot
For this project, the goal was to create a mascot promoting learning for children and included in many different facets of the park. The choice of the mascot was to promote awareness of the locally endangered species of Monarch Butterflies. An upcoming environmental graphic in the newly commissioned playground will feature Melvin alongside similar-styled mascots and include fun facts about other endangered species. Stickers and various areas around the park with attached fun facts and information will also feature the butterflies.

Snow Leopard
On a similar theme, the purpose of the
snow leopard graphic was to spread awareness for their endangerment through a fun interactional sign. The snow leopard is due to be posted on a sign in the upcoming month. On the sign, each spot of the cat will be a different texture that can be interacted with by patrons of the Zoo.
